Guest Ratings & Reviews
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with a western modular bath, tatami floor 'day set up,' and even a little table and floor-level chairs for a cozy atmosphere. The price was a great deal for the size of the room. However, the service had its ups and downs, with some staff going above and beyond and others being a bit strict. The location was convenient, situated near the Botanical Gardens and just a 10-minute walk from the station, but it required an open mind for Japanese customs. The dining experience offered a mix of traditional Japanese and western items, enhancing the overall stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, with its cute Japanese-style day mode setup, was small but cozy. The service was exceptional, with the staff going out of their way to accommodate us even when we missed dinner. The location, while convenient for exploring Sapporo, felt a bit odd being behind the Former Hokkaido Government Office. The dining experience offered a variety of Japanese and Western options, but some improvements could be made. Overall, a decent stay with some room for enhancement.
